Teriyaki Burgers (for 450g/1lb minced beef)
In a large bowl mix together the mince, 30ml/2tbsp Teriyaki sauce,5ml/1tsp sesame oil, 1clove garlic, peeled and crushed, 5-10ml/1-2tsp Chinese 5-spice powder and salt and freshly milled black pepper. Shape into four-9cm/3½inch burger. Chill for 20 minutes before cooking on a prepared barbecue (see cooking chart for timings) until any meat juices run clear. In a large bowl mix together the mince, 50g/2oz sun-dried tomatoes, finely chopped, 15ml/1tbsp English or Dijon mustard, 30ml/2tbsp freshly chopped parsley, 50g/2oz ready prepared softened garlic butter and salt and freshly milled black pepper. Shape into four-9cm/3½inch burger. Chill for 20 minutes before cooking on a prepared barbecue (see cooking chart for timings) until any meat juices run clear.
